The Cambridge Multicultural
Arts Center is located at 41 Second Street in Cambridge, MA.
BY CAR:
From 93N
1) Take "Storrow Drive/Cambridge". Stay in the right lane
(follow signs for "Cambridge/ Somerville".) Take exit "North
Station".
2) Turn left at the lights and bear right, following the signs for
"Msgr. O'Brien Highway/Somerville/28N".
3) Go straight through the next set of lights. (You will pass the
Museum of Science on the left.) Stay to the left of the fork and go
through two more sets of lights. (The Lechmere subway station will
be on the right at the second light.)
4) Turn left at the next set of lights onto Second Street.
5) The entrance of CMAC (41 Second Street) is located 1 block down
on the right.
From 93S
1) Take exit "Storrow Drive/North Station." Stay in the
right lane (follow the signs for "Cambridge/ Somerville".)
Take exit "North Station".
2) Take a left at the lights and bear right. Follow the signs for
"Msgr. O'Brien Highway/Somerville/28N".

From I-90 (Mass. Pike) East/West:
1) Take exit 18 "Cambridge". Stay in the right lane. Following
the signs for "Cambridge".
2) Go through the first set of lights. Cross the Charles River and
make a right hand turn on to Memorial Drive.
3) Follow the directions "From Memorial Drive" below.
From Storrow Drive (approaching from the west of Boston):
1) Follow the signs for expressway North/South until Leverett Circle.
2) Stay in the left lane (after passing the exit "Government
Center").
3) Follow the signs for Cambridge/ Somerville. (DO NOT FOLLOW 93N/S
OR 1 N/S.) This lane makes a U-turn. Stay in the outermost lane halfway
through the U-turn and follow the signs for "Msgr. O'Brien Highway/Somerville/28N."
4) Go straight through the next set of lights. (You will pass the
Museum of Science on the left.) Stay to the left of the fork and go
through two more sets of lights. (The Lechmere subway station will
be on the right at the second light.)
5) Turn left at the next set of lights onto Second Street.
6) The entrance of CMAC (41 Second Street) is located 1 block down
on the right.
From Memorial
Drive (Rt.3 and 2A) East Bound:
1) Follow the signs for Government Center. You will pass M.I.T. on
the left. Stay in left two lanes as you go under the Mass. Avenue
overpass.
2) Move to the right lane after this and follow the signs for The
Royal Sonesto Hotel and Lechmere/Cambridge Parkway. Stay to the right.
(DO NOT exit left to "Government Center"). The road veers
tight and goes under the Longfellow bridge overpass. At the first
set of lights take a left. Take the next right onto First Street.
CMAC is one block over, there is a parking lot on Spring Street, one
block from CMAC.
By Subway:
1) Lechmere Station is currently accessed by shuttle bus. From Government
Center (on the Blue Line & Green Line) and Haymarket (on the Orange
Line)
2) Lechmere T station is above the ground. Take a left on exiting
the station onto McGrath Highway.
3) Take immediate left onto Second Street.
4) Walk through the first intersection of Second Street and Cambridge
Streets. (The Cambridge Courthouse will be on the right at this intersection).
5) The entrance of CMAC (41 Second Street) is located 1 1/2 blocks
down on the right, just past Centanni Park.
By Bus:
1) From Harvard Square, Cambridge, take the #69 bus down Cambridge
Street toward the Cambridge Courthouse.
2) Get off at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Third Street
(by the courthouse).
3) Walk down 1/2 a block toward the Lechmere subway stop (or toward
Boston).
4) Take a right onto Second Street.
5) The entrance to CMAC (41 Second Street) is 1 1/2 blocks on the
right.
PARKING:
The East Cambridge Parking garage is entered off Spring Street, between
First & Second Streets, one block from CMAC. The charge is a flat
rate of $3.00 for a weekday night after 5:30pm until midnight and
all day (until midnight) on weekends.
There is also limited metered parking in the area.

The Berklee Performance
Center is located at 136 Massachusetts Avenue, just south of
Boylston Street. Situated in Boston's Back Bay, the theater is easily
accessible by "T," car, and bus.
By Car
From points west: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate
90) east to exit 22 (Prudential Center exit), which begins in a tunnel.
When you reach this exit, bear left onto street level and stay left
onto Huntington Avenue. Stay in the right lane and turn right at the
third traffic light onto Massachusetts Avenue. The Berklee Performance
Center is on your right, just past the third light.
From points due south: Take Route 93 north (Southeast Expressway)
to the Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury exit (a right-lane exit). Turn
right onto Massachusetts Avenue at the traffic light. Continue on
Massachusetts Avenue. The Berklee Performance Center is on your right,
at the intersection of Mass Ave. and Boylston Street.
From points due north: Take Route 93 south or Route 1 south.
These roads converge at Boston's central artery. Follow the signs
for Storrow Drive heading west and stay in the center lane. Take the
Fenway exit and get into the left lane. Make a hard left onto Boylston
Street and continue to the Massachusetts Avenue intersection. Turn
right. The Berklee Performance Center is on the left, about 30 yards
from the corner.
Subway
By "T": Take the Green Line to the Hynes Convention Center/ICA
stop. Exit left onto Massachusetts Avenue and cross Boylston Street.
The Berklee Performance Center is about 30 yards from the corner.

By Bus
Take the Route 1 (Harvard/Holyoke Gate--Dudley Station) Massachusetts
Avenue bus running from Harvard Square in Cambridge directly to The
Hynes Convention Center stop on Massachusetts Ave. Across from The
Virgin Records Store.
Consult the MBTA web site for the
bus schedule.
Parking
Limited parking is available on the streets surrounding the Berklee
Performance Center and Berklee College of Music.
Parking is also available at nearby parking garages:
The Back Bay Hilton garage located on Dalton Street. Heading
north on Massachusetts Avenue, take a right onto Boylston Street and
then another right at the first light, just before the Hynes Convention
Center. Their rates are $9.00 for the evening if parked after 4:00pm.

There is parking available at The Prudential Center Garage on
Boylston Street, just past the Hynes Convention Center. The garage
may offer a discount if you present your Berklee ticket stub to the

Directions by public transportation:
Sanders Theatre is located in Memorial Hall, a large Victorian structure on a piece of land surrounded by Cambridge Street, Quincy Street and Kirkland Street just north of Harvard Yard. Access by the T is a short walk through Harvard Yard from the Red Line (and many bus lines) stop at Harvard Square.
Directions by automobile:
Water Music is pleased to offer concert patrons complimentary parking at Harvard's nearby Broadway Parking Garage on Felton Street.
From downtown Boston and points North and South:
Take Storrow Drive West, toward Cambridge/Newton. Exit right at the Harvard Square/Cambridge signed exit onto JFK Street. Cross the Anderson Bridge, which spans the Charles River, to reach JFK Street.
OR take Memorial Drive West, toward Cambridge/Newton. Exit right at the Harvard Square/Cambridge signed exit onto JFK Street.
From points West:
Take Soldiers Field Road/Storrow Drive East, toward downtown Boston. Exit right at the Harvard Square/Allston exit, then take your first left , crossing the Anderson Bridge, which spans the Charles River, to reach JFK Street.
OR take Memorial Drive East, toward downtown Boston. Exit left at the Harvard Square/Cambridge signed exit onto JFK Street.
Once on JFK Street, travel through three (3) sets of lights (not including the lights at the intersection of Memorial Drive and JFK Street). Pass the Nini's Corner Newspaper Stand and the Harvard Coop on the left, and the Out of Town Newpaper Stand on the right. Get into the right hand lane heading toward the next set of lights (located directly in front of the Johnston Gate at the entrance to Harvard Yard). Going through the lights, bear right at the fork ahead. Travel beneath the Underpass, (on emerging, you will see Memorial Hall on your left) and at the next fork (with a fire station in the middle), bear left onto Cambridge Street. Take the third right onto Felton Street. The entrance to the Broadway Garage will be on your right . Tell the attendant that you are attending the concert in Sanders Theatre. Please park only on the third level and above.

The theatre is in
the center of Davis Square, where Holland Street meets Day Street. Davis
Square is located at the intersection of College Avenue, Highland Avenue,
Elm Street, Holland Street and Dover Street in West Somerville. Directions
are as follows:
From Harvard Square/Massachusetts
Avenue:
Travel West on Massachusetts
Avenue toward Porter Square/Arlington. Five blocks past Porter Square
take a right onto Russell Street. At the end of Russell
Street take a left onto Highland Avenue. Follow Highland
Avenue into Davis Square. You will see the theatre straight ahead.
From I-90/Mass Pike traveling
East from Western and Central Massachusetts:
Follow I-90/Mass Pike East
to I-95/Route 128 North (Continue with I-95 directions below).
From I-95/Route 128 traveling
North or South:
Follow I-95/Route 128 to
the Route 2 East exit. (Continue with Route 2 directions below--note
that the distance along Route 2 from I-95/Route 128 to the set of traffic
lights at the junction of Route 16 is about 5 miles.)
From Route 2 traveling East:
Follow Route 2 East until
you come to a set of traffic lights at the junction of Route 16.
Bear left through the traffic lights onto Route 16 East.
You will immediately come to the Massachusetts Avenue intersection.
Continue straight through the intersection on Route 16 for about a mile
until you reach the intersection with Broadway (a Foodmaster
supermarket is on the corner). Take a right onto Broadway and
follow through two sets of traffic lights. At the third set of traffic
lights take a right onto Holland Street. Follow Holland
Street 1/2 mile into Davis Square. The theatre is located on
your right next to the T station.
From I-93 traveling North:
Take I-93 North to Exit
31 (Route 16 Arlington Exit). Follow Route 16 West for about
3 miles until you come to the intersection with Broadway (a Foodmaster
supermarket is on the corner). Take a left onto Broadway
and follow through two sets of traffic lights. At the third set of traffic
lights take a right onto Holland Street. Follow Holland
Street 1/2 mile into Davis Square. The theatre is located on
your right next to the T station.
From I-93 traveling South:
Take I-93 South to Exit
31 (Route 16 Revere Exit). At the bottom of the ramp take your first
right onto Harvard Street. Follow Harvard Street about
1 mile until you come to the Powderhouse Circle rotary. Go through
the rotary, following the Davis Square-Somerville sign onto College
Avenue. Follow College Avenue into Davis Square . Take a
hard right onto Holland Street and you will see the theatre
on the left.
Parking:
There is NO theatre parking
lot. There is some metered
parking (free after 6:00pm) on streets and in city parking lots in the
area, but many surrounding streets have no meters and are limited to
cars bearing Somerville resident stickers. Somerville Theater management
advises parking at the Alewife T Station and taking the Red
Line to Davis Square, particularly if arriving later in the
evening.
Public Transportation:
Take the Red Line to the
Davis Square stop. Get out onto Holland Street.
The Theatre is on your right.

By Car
From the North: Take Route 93 South to Storrow Drive to the Fenway
exit.
From the South: Take Route 93 (the Southeast Expressway) to the
Massachusetts Avenue exit.
From the West: Take Storrow Drive to the Fenway exit or, from
the Mass Pike Extension, take the Prudential Center/Copley Square exit.
By Subway
Take the Heath Street/Brigham Circle "E" Green Line
train to the Symphony stop, any other Green Line train to the Hynes
Convention Center stop, or the Orange Line to the Massachusetts
Ave stop.
By Bus

Parking
The rates listed below are
current rates, and are subject to change without notice.
The Prudential Center Garage
offers a rate of $10.00 for patrons attending events at Symphony Hall,
if parked after 5:00pm. You need your ticket stub for that evening's
performance to receive the discounted rate.
The Church Park Garage,
located around the corner from Symphony Hall on Westland Avenue above
Bread & Circus, offers event parking at the flat rate of $17.00.
The Back Bay Hilton Garage
located on Dalton Street. Heading north on Massachusetts Avenue, take
a right onto Boylston Street and then another right at the first light,
just before the Hynes Convention Center. Their rates are $9.00 for the
evening if parked after 4:00pm.
The Uptown Garage, located one block west down Huntington Avenue,
then one block south on Gainsborough Street (just past Jordan Hall),
offers event parking at the flat rate of $15.00 with your ticket
stub.
Limited street parking is also available.
